Panties in a Twist

I love photographs. As a lens-based artist for over 40 years, a photographic educator for 29 years and an independent curator, I have been immersed in the medium for most of my life.

This is the inspiration for this zine. As we have lost photographic exhibition spaces and opportunities for photographers to have their images in the world, I wanted to fill a tiny gap.

Panties in a Twist is a feminist photo publication that celebrates women photographers. It has long been part of my curatorial strategy to showcase women artists, as they continue to be sorely underrepresented. This zine is a continuation of that gesture.
